Meet Sharon Sobon

More than 30 years ago, Sharon Sobon was looking for a way to reinvent her career, combining her acquired skills in real estate, administrative services and management. Inspired by a leader in the Boston-area rental office space industry, Sharon endeavored into the Connecticut office-rental industry, opening an office space in Waterbury. A few years later, she opened the current office, meeting and conference space in Cheshire – serving Southington, Wolcott, Cheshire, Waterbury, Prospect and the greater New Haven and Hartford counties – and branded her business Sobon & Associates, LLC. She remembers what it was like to be starting out, and offers this advice to entrepreneurs: “Look at everything your competition is doing. Not just their names... know what they’re doing – and you’ll learn what not to do. It’s difficult to pinpoint, but it’s invaluable.”
